I am an Assistant Professor of International Affairs in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.

I completed my PhD in the Department of Politics at the University of Virginia in May 2022. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Institute for Politics and Strategy at Carnegie Mellon University. My research interests are in international and comparative political economy, with a focus on the political economy of globalization and international migration. My research is published in the American Journal of Political Science, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Studies in Comparative International Development, and Cambridge University Press.

My book (co-authored with David Leblang), The Ties That Bind: Immigration and the Global Political Economy, is available now. Click here to order from Cambridge University Press, or click here to order on Amazon.
